pricing and booking
my pricing is based on 3 main principles:
1. how many humans?
The amount of human subjects present during our session determines so many various factors within my work! For example, the type of imagery and possible combinations, how much I may need to intervene with posing, how many moving parts during the day, and planning what may be best suited for location, quantity, session length, equipment, etc.!
2. what’s your backdrop?
The location of our session is so important to the planning phases! Do we want a cozy, day-in-the-lifestyle vibe? Or a fantastical garden picnic? Frolicking dreamily on the beach? Or maybe something clean, chic, and classic like a studio session? Locations like gardens or studios require me to scout, make reservations, and pay permits/rentals.
3. what’s our goal?
In my business we determine gallery size prior to the session to set us up for success! Whether you want just a few photos for a postcard, a bunch for a photo wall, or 75 to make a book. Prioritizing transparency, and setting clear expectations before our session will help us both! In this way, You’ll know exactly what you’re paying for, no hidden costs, and only necessary shoot time.

the session cost is determined by the total of these 3 variables.
“human” includes: partners, babies, grandparents, fiancés, besties, siblings, aunties, and children regardless of age or relation to the booking person
All location fees are based on a session location within 40 miles radius of DTLA. Travel fee by car of $1 per mile for over 40 miles. Please inquire if session location is over 400 miles from DTLA.
